Yes, I do remember… in fact, I’ll never forget that book, the title is “Rabicún” it’s written in Spanish, the author is Patricia Barbadillo… I think that there’s no translation for this book in English, so I wrote a little review for you:

It’s a book written for children on which the author proposes to illustrate some articles of the Constitution.

Barbadillo created a particular universe (Planet Rabicún) in which the characters live, during their daily lives the author will demonstrate the need to have common laws that must be respected.

The protagonist of the book is named Casilda, the daughter of the king, who fights in his own way against social discrimination because of their status, age, sex... The princess has a vocation for manual work, which his father refuses to see because she is a princess and besides she is a girl; the king thinks that manual work belongs to men and the kitchen and housekeeping belongs to women… but at the end Casilda demonstrate her talent and make a difference.
